Membership Classification

TCM membership classification is determined by the nature of the business being conducted by the member company.

  • Tech Membership (Information, Biotechnology and Bioscience Companies)
    Any entity that derives revenue from research, development, manufacturing, distribution of technology products, materials, or components that use or embody technology.
  • Associate Membership (Non Technology Companies)
    Professional service firms which provide services such as legal, financial, staffing and consulting assistance to the technology business community.
  • Educational Institutions
    Any educational institution providing education and/or training to students or companies.
  • Government Institutions
    Any government institutions may join TCM.
  • Affiliates: Non-profit Organizations
    501c3 non-profit organizations supporting the technology business community, including business associations, economic development agencies, etc. (Proof of 501c3 status required).

Membership Dues

TCM membership dues are based on total employment for the company within Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. All TCM memberships are corporate, individual memberships are not available.
