Governor O'Malley is Featured Speaker at
Tech Council of Maryland's 2008 Leadership Dinner

(ROCKVILLE, MD) – January 15, 2008 – The Tech Council of Maryland (TCM) is proud to announce that Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley will be the featured Keynote Speaker at the association's 2008 Leadership Dinner on January 22, 2008 at the Annapolis Marriott Waterfront Hotel. This is the first time that Governor O'Malley has spoken to TCM members who are senior IT, biotechnology and corporate executives from throughout Maryland.

"This is one of the most important Leadership Dinners we have ever hosted," said Julie Coons, TCM Chief Executive Officer. "Our members will be able to hear first-hand from the state's chief executive. Governor O'Malley is a dynamic and engaging speaker and our members are anxious to hear from him."

Governor O'Malley is expected to speak about a host of compelling state issues including the state-of-the-state, economic priorities for technology, biotechnology and the state's business climate moving forward. In addition, he is expected to talk about his administration's accomplishments and give a "from the top" forecast of the current legislative session.

The TCM Leadership Dinner is a members-only event held annually that allows the most senior executives from the association's member companies access to Maryland's legislative leaders. In addition to Governor O'Malley's speech, attendees will also be given a formal presentation on TCM's 2008 policy priorities.
