(ROCKVILLE, MD) January 15, 2009 The Tech Council of Maryland (TCM), the State's premier technology association, is pleased to host the 7th Annual Frederick County Awards Celebration, to be held March 12, 2008 starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Delaplaine Visual Arts Education Center, Frederick Maryland. Four awards will be presented: Firm of the Year, Executive of the Year, Small Business of the Year and new for this year, Service Provider of the Year.
Supported by the Frederick County Office of Economic Development, this unique annual event recognizes the achievements and promise of the local technology and biotechnology industries. "TCM's Frederick County Awards Celebration highlights Frederick County's technology/biotechnology businesses and their leaders who are making a difference and contributing in significant ways to the prosperity of the county," said Laurie Boyer, Executive Director, Frederick County Office of Economic Development.
"The State of Maryland is leading the way with our technology and biotechnology businesses and the products/services that they provide," said Michelle Ferrone, Vice President, Marketing and Operations. "Last year, we had over 150 attendees at this event, and hope to sell out again this year."
