Tech Council of Maryland Unveils New Brand Identity, Website

Rockville, Md. – (February 24, 2014) –The Tech Council of Maryland (TCM), Maryland’s largest technology trade association, today unveiled a refreshed brand identity, including a new logo and website. The new identity and website are key steps in TCM’s plan to modernize its member offerings to reflect its service and leadership to the region’s growing technology and life science communities.

“The technology and life science communities in Maryland and the greater Washington DC metropolitan region are rapidly evolving,” said Phil Schiff, TCM’s CEO.  “Our new brand identity and website are one phase of a broader effort to evolve and grow with the communities we serve.  TCM is privileged to serve companies that save lives, secure the country, and connect the world.  We are deeply committed to creating and sustaining workable communities where they can learn, connect, and ultimately grow their bottom lines.  Moving forward, members will see more events, roundtables, and educational programs targeted to specific communities including, among others cyber security, vaccines, diagnostics, cloud computing, health IT, and more.  The broader technology and life sciences community belongs to its members. We look forward to reflecting and advancing their interests today and in the future.”

TCM’s redesigned website features the new Connected Community, a secure, private online network that lets members start and join conversations, share information, register for events, and create their own blogs – all targeted to enhance a members experience with TCM and further the “dialogue” that ultimately fuels economic growth in Maryland and around the region.
