Women’s IT Committee

Mission Statement

The TCM Women’s IT Committee’s primary goal is to fully integrate women in the TCM across all committees and programs. We want to increase the numbers of women in the profession to a high enough percentage that women can easily fold into existing and established networking areas. In addition we will produce an event that analyze IT trends, educational opportunities, partnering programs and other strategies to promote women in the IT workforce. Committee participants will listen to speakers and discuss a variety of topics to help women advance in their chosen IT profession.

The Women’s IT Committee will bring together TCM members from diverse technology disciplines to collaborate on career advancement through innovative events with topics created from the committee members. More important, the Women’s IT Committee will focus on all title ranges and discuss common topics facing women in IT.
