DETERMINING MEMBERSHIP CLASSIFICATION AND DUES
Membership Classification
Tech Council of Maryland (TCM) Membership classification is determined by the nature of the
business being conducted by the member company.
Tech Membership (Information, Biotechnology and Bioscience Companies)
- Any entity that derives revenue from research, development, manufacturing, distribution of technology products, materials, or components that use or embody technology.
Associate Membership (Non Technology Companies)
- Professional service firms which provide services such as legal, financial, staffing and consulting assistance to the technology business community
Educational Institutions
- Any educational institution providing education and/or training to students or companies
Goverment Institutions
- Any goverment institutions may join TCM
Affiliates: Non-profit Organizations
- 501c3 non-profit organizations supporting the technology business community, including business associations, economic development agencies, etc. (Proof of 501c3 status required)
Membership Dues
Tech Council of Maryland (TCM) membership dues are based on total employment for the company within Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. All TCM memberships are corporate, individual memberships are not available.
*MemberPlus Members may attend any event of $30 or below for no cost, as well as receive discounted prices off other events.
